Thanks to a grant from Melton Borough Council the Melton learning hub has been able to support members of the community who wish to improve their locality or run an allotment. The team have so far focused on the areas of Edendale Road where wildflowers have been planted along the brook.
Four allotments have now been cleared at Lake Terrace and are now waiting for families to take up occupancy.
