The Melton Learning Hub is thrilled to share that it has been awarded a substantial 4-year grant of £478,000 from The National Lottery Community Fund to continue its vital work that Engage Youth & Families Service offers. This significant funding will enable Engage to expand its reach and support to even more young people and their families in the Melton and Coalville areas.
Engage Youth & Families Service has proven to be a cornerstone of support for young people in the area, providing a range of essential services and opportunities. With this new funding, Engage will be able to build upon its existing success and offer even more comprehensive support, including:
- Expanding the team: Recruiting a new staff member in order to reach more young people and their families.
- Increased access to resources: Expanding our time, resources and opportunities to help young people develop their interests and passions.
- Strengthened family support: Continuing to offer support and resources to families and help them better understand and support their young people.
Engage is particularly excited about the opportunity to extend its services to young people and their families in Coalville. This expansion will allow us to reach a new group of young people and families who may be facing similar challenges and benefit greatly from the support it provides.
Kate and Joe, who have been instrumental in the success of the Engage project, will continue to play a key role in delivering the program. Their experience and dedication have been invaluable in providing support and guidance to young people in the Melton area, and they are looking forward to extending their reach to Coalville.
The Melton Learning Hub is grateful for the support of The National Lottery Community Fund and is committed to using this funding to make a positive difference in the lives of young people and their families in both Melton and Coalville.
