Planet SEN Youth and Family Social Group meets every Monday from 5pm to 7pm at The Venue, Phoenix House, Nottingham Road, Melton Mowbray.
Entry is via the wooden gated entrance which faces Sainsburys.
This group is for families and young people aged 10-16 years old with special educational needs, such as autism, ADHD and other neurodiverse needs and is FREE to attend.
The group is run by Engage Youth & Families Project along with the groups’ parents and the voice of young people.
We provide a safe and supportive environment where your child can:
- Make friends with other young people who have similar needs
- Learn new skills and activities
- Develop their social and emotional skills
- Have fun and enjoy themselves!
As an offshoot from the social group, some of the parents have established a running and cycling group. This gives parents/carers respite and a good physical and mental workout whilst their child is enjoying the session.
