Welcome to SPARKZ!

This group is for young people aged 10-16 years old with special educational needs, such as autism, ADHD and other neurodiverse needs and is FREE to attend.

The group is run by Engage Youth & Families Project with a team of volunteers. We provide a safe and supportive environment where your child can:

  • Make friends with other young people who have similar needs
  • Learn new skills and activities
  • Develop their social and emotional skills
  • Have fun and enjoy themselves!

Parents/guardians/carers will need to stay with their child for the first few sessions, until we better understand your child’s needs. However, we hope that at some point you will be able to gradually step back and allow your child to participate in the group independently.

As an offshoot from the youth group, some of the parents have established a running group. This gives them respite and a good physical and mental workout whilst their child is enjoying the session.

Sparkz Youth Club meets every Monday from 5pm to 7pm at The Venue, Phoenix House, Nottingham Road, Melton Mowbray. Entry is via the wooden gated entrance which faces Sainburys.

  • FREE to attend!
  • Just turn up! No referral need.
